My apologies for the delay, as I promised this would be out on the first Monday of each month.  Nevertheless, here are the Top Wine and Food events for this month.  Raise your glass and celebrate, food, wine and life!

Aug 9-12: Los Anegeles Food and Wine Festival: Los Angeles, CA

-This event is “jammed pack” with celebrities and celebratory food and wine.  This festival will feature some of the culinary best, including Giada di Laurentis, Gabriel Ask, Anthony Carron and a page full of names that is too long to list.  You don’t need a celebrity sized wallet to attend. Enjoy “a la carte” events for as low as $50 (Cooking Demonstration with Celebrity Andrew Zimmerman) or blind white wine tasting ($75)

Aug 11: 2oth Annual Wine Celebration: Monterey County, CA

-Meet the Winemakers, Discover and Taste Wines from over 40 Monterey County Wineries and 150 wines, Enjoy live music provided by Red Beans & Rice, Indulge in great local food from the Barnyard Restaurants (see list below), and make wine purchases from our “Try and Buy” Wine Marketplace.

Aug 16: Mammoth Festival (Wine, Food and Music): Mammoth, CA

-This signature Mammoth summer event kicks off on Thursday evening with a Winemaker Dinner featuring Frog’s Leap at the Top of the Sierra (sold out); on Friday evening the event moves to The Village for the Wine Walk presented by the Mammoth Mountain Community Foundation; on Saturday Mammoth Festival takes over the rustic wood site surrounded by pines and the fresh mountain air with a day full of live music and fabulous wine. Enjoy perfect weather, great wines, appetizing eats and amazing art. The weekend-long event concludes at Hyde Lounge in The Village with the Sunday Champagne Brunch.

Aug 18: San Francisco Street Festival: San Francisco, CA

-La Cocina’s San Francisco Street Food Festival brings all of the best food (and music) in the Bay Area to one street, once a year, to celebrate the talent, the taste and the entrepreneurial spirit of people who make a living doing what they love to do. Aug 26: Los Angeles  Epicurian Festival: Los Angeles, CA

-The Los Angeles Epicurean Festival brings together culinary specialties and extraordinary wines & spirits, under one roof in a casual setting. Aug 31-Sept 2: Sonoma Wine Country Weekend: Sonoma County, CA
